Auditing
Introduction
Auditing transport compliance systems is one of Prestige’s expert area’s having been a transport manager for many years and subject to audits from the DVSA, FORS and other accreditations.
You can be sure you will receive a thorough audit from Prestige giving positive feedback and assistance to give your operation the opportunity to implement best practice.
Operator Compliance Health Check
This audit enables us to gauge how the operator compliance systems are working, need improving or implementing. A report will be written up, where there are shortcomings or opportunities to improve.
Prestige will work with you to ensure best practice. Often by simply suppling templates and other documents can make a big difference.
Traffic Commissioner Audits
Follow engagement with the Traffic Commissioner, operators are often instructed to undertake an audit. Often this is a condition of continuing to hold an operator’s licence and must not be overlooked.
As approved Earned Recognition auditors Prestige are able to support you with Traffic Commissioner audits
Normally these audits focus on maintenance and driver management but can be more. Like the full audit we will audit the compliance systems and report on our findings.
We will gather evidence that will be sent to the Traffic Commissioner to show your progress. Where there are shortcomings, we will summarise these in the report. You will then be required to explain how you will take measures to improve, from there you will send the audit file onto the TC, who will then confirm the outcome of the audit.
Full Compliance Audit
This audit investigates in detail everything that is in place, establishes what is suitable and what may need improving or implementing, for this audit there are 10 key areas we audit and feedback with a full report that gives guidance on what should be in place, what the operator has and how to improve.
This audit is an ideal annual must have for compliant operator, or you have had a visit from the DVSA which could lead to regulatory action.
Undertaking this audit early and allow Prestige to assist could save your operator licence.
