Transport Manager Training
Operator Licence Awareness Training
As patron members of the Institute of Transport Administration our course is recognised and approved by the Traffic Commissioners should you be requested to complete an Operator Awareness Course.
Our one day Operator Licence Awareness training course can delivered at your premises or at our training centre in Wisbech.
The course will cover the operator licence undertakings and much more, you will benefit from a mini audit at the beginning of the course to check where you are at with your compliance regime.
Transport Manager Two Day Refresher
As patron members of the Institute of Transport Administration our course is recognised and approved by the Traffic Commissioners should you be requested to complete a Two Day Transport Manager Refresher Course.
A Transport Manager Two Day Refresher Course is a must for all qualified transport managers at Prestige we offer two day refresher courses for both Road Haulage and Passenger Transport.
These courses can be delivered at our training centre or at your premises.
The transport manager refresher course is our flagship training course, having been a transport manager for a number years David ensures this course starts by informing delegates of both current and up coming changes to the industry, pulling on his vast experience you can be sure that your learning outcomes will give you the knowledge to practice Continuous and Effective transport management. To refresh your knowledge further there be a few written exercise to complete during the training.
Fleet Manager
Our Fleet Manager one day training course is ideal for newly qualified transport managers, workshop managers or those wishing to learn more about the maintenance regime.
The course looks at all aspects of pre planning, the importance of daily checks, understanding maintenance documents including brake test reports, managing the fleet, vehicle selection, MOT standards, Prohibitions and DVSA enforcement.

Our Driver Assessor Course is a three day training course with a level two qualification at the end. The course is part classroom and on the road, we will assess the candidates driving ability and background knowledge, then teach the skills of a driver assessor giving the delegate the opportunity to demonstrate that they can assess other drivers ensuring continuity and fairness.
For new drivers to the business, post accident or incident and annual assessments.
The course is an ideal opportunity to progress a good driver in their career, allowing them to take this course will help improve road safety, better insurance premiums, improved driving styles and public image.

As qualified driver assessors and many years experience why not benefit from our driver assessments.
We can offer on site assessments for your drivers, ensuring they are compliant and safe on the road.
Our assessments start with a 30 minute refresher training session, then ask the driver to complete a theory test based on the highway code, and all other LGV relevant subjects.
We will then take them for 45 - 60 minute driving assessment covering all road types and junctions,
A report will then be compiled and issued back to you with our findings and recommendations.

Are you looking to improve driving standards and get a better return on fuel economy. In addition to a driving assessment, we will put your drivers through our SEE the Difference classroom based training course then put the theory into action on the road.
As trucks become more dynamic and require different driving styles, the trainers at Prestige have kept up to date with the characteristic that OEM's have built into the modern truck, which intern we can familiarise your driver with giving better knowledge of the vehicles and an improved driving style and MPG.
IRTEC
IRTEC Qualifications
If are you looking to renew your IRTEC qualification or have a need or desire to have a valued qualification to support your practice in vehicles and trailer safety inspections.
We are able to offer the IRTEC Heavy Vehicle, Heavy Trailer, Light Commercial, and PSV inspection technician qualification via our sister company Blyth Auto Solutions who are an accredited IMI centre.
We also other all levels of IMI assessments other than tyre and electric vehicles.
Before you undertake your assessment we can support you with our bespoke training course giving you a better understanding of the operators legislation and HGV inspection manual techniques that will help achieve a good assessment.
The IRTEC accreditation is now becoming a requirement for all technicians that undertake safety inspection on operator licensed vehicles and trailers.
